Flag
Day - February 15 On
February 15, 1965, the National Flag of Canada was
raised for the first time on Parliament Hill in Ottawa
and across the country. Celebrate the 47th anniversary
of our national flag this February 15.
We have a great opportunity to show the world our
distinctive red and white maple leaf flag. This symbol
of freedom, democracy, and human rights reminds us
of how truly fortunate we are to live in this vast
and beautiful land.
The flag belongs to all Canadians; it is an emblem
we all share. To help celebrate this special day,
there is, attached, a print-friendly version of the
National
Flag of Canada Day poster.

Math Homework Help!
Homework Help provides free, real-time help
to our students taking Grade 7 to 10 Mathematics.
It allows them to get help after school hours, when
teachers or parents are unavailable to help. It can
help students with answering homework questions, reviewing
material from previous grades, and studying for tests,
exams or the EQAO tests. But remember – it is
“homework help” not “homework do”
– the tutors are there to support the students
and work through questions to help them be more confident
learners and better understand the math.
The Tutor Chat Rooms are open 5 nights a week, for
4 hours each night, and can be accessed as much or
as little as needed. Besides the Chat Rooms, there
are other tools available on the website as well:
Anyone can create a Guest account & have access
to all parts of the website, except the ability to
ask questions of the tutors. Students can create an
