Flag Day - February 15
On February 15, 1965, the National Flag of Canada was raised for the first time on Parliament Hill in Ottawa and across the country. Celebrate the 47th anniversary of our national flag this February 15.

We have a great opportunity to show the world our distinctive red and white maple leaf flag. This symbol of freedom, democracy, and human rights reminds us of how truly fortunate we are to live in this vast and beautiful land.

The flag belongs to all Canadians; it is an emblem we all share. To help celebrate this special day, there is, attached, a print-friendly version of the National Flag of Canada Day poster.
